Who We Are
Hello, thank you for taking the time to read about the mission and about us.
We are medical biochemists but worked in full-time Christian ministry for 14 years until our retirement two years ago. During that time we gained experience and training in helping with all kinds of life trauma. Since retiring we have been trained as associate prayer ministers with Ellel Ministries whose mission is to 'restore and heal damaged and broken lives'.
Flame International are closely linked to Ellel and have a similar ministry but tend to 'go out' to those places where violence and trauma has actually occurred.

About the Mission
We have been asked to join a small team from Flame International who are planning a trauma healing mission to northern Nigeria.
This area has seen significant violence in recent years with many kidnappings, rapes, abductions, killings, villages razed to the ground and buildings destroyed. The aim is to bring our training in trauma healing and ministry to war survivors, and help train the trauma counsellors who work there.
The invitation comes from the Anglican Diocese of Jos and the Stephanos Foundation. The dates are 29 January to 15 February 2025.

Support Us
We have the calling and experience for this work but not the financial means. That is why we are asking for your support. We estimate that the overall cost for the trip to Nigeria will be around £4000 for both of us, and would have to be paid by the end of the year. This will include all travel, accommodation, food, and any associated costs.
Any support you can offer would be greatly appreciated. This could be via a donation but also by also sharing this information with friends, family members, social media and your local church etc. Thank you!
We will be providing regular updates as plans for this mission develops.
