Armenia 2024

"Be still and know that I am God! I will be honoured by every nation. I will be honoured throughout the world. The Lord of Heaven's Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress."
Psalms 46:10-11
The team who have just returned from Armenia are rejoicing in all the Lord has done over the last two weeks, there were many WOW moments and we are pinching ourselves that we get the privilege of being part of this team.
Thank Jesus that we were all kept safe and no war broke out during our time there and we are praying it will never break out. We were all kept well and returned weary, but expectant that the Lord has His hand on this small nation. Your prayers were answered as were kept healthy, free mostly from enemy attack, but also completely reliant on the Lord.
We started Forge Armenia with 33 leaders/pastors, (16 Pastors and their wives plus one pastor), 5 had to leave for various church reasons and in the end we had 28 people and we saw the glory of the Lord changing their lives. This is the first time Forge Armenia has been run, indeed it is the first time the Forge has been run overseas in this way, and most of the attendees had not received our teaching before. They are part of a Prayer Movement which meets every night to pray for the nation which is under the threat of war in 12 regions in the nation. They were committed to unity and we were convinced this commitment meant that they received much from our teaching. The week was interesting and there was a challenge on theology occasionally. However on the last session on Q & A, we braced ourselves for a tough time but all they said was we want more of this teaching and ministry including a request for 4 weeks of teaching! One pastor who forgave the Turkish President for his threats towards Armenia had pain in both arms and it was healed immediately. He kept returning to the team to tell us he was healed and his heart had been changed.

We were very encouraged as we were hearing lots of testimonies of inner healing in people's lives. As they got more "stuck in" with the ministry, there were testimonies of being set free from fear and occult spirits. Many were opening up now about the terrible realities of the war. Some had children killed in action, and others are fearful for their sons being called up now. There has been some deep healing from grief for these people, and we praised Christ, the restorer of our souls.

The day of teaching ended with the Pastor's uniting together in repentance for the healing of their land. It was amazing!! They carried the mantle of intercession and cried out to God for their land, finishing with the shout "Armenia for Christ" and the sounding of the shofar. The Pastor's and wives then went into spontaneous worship by the piano – there was a real sense of a shift in the heavenly atmosphere!
On the final night of the conference we had a Wow moment! Each ministry group had a very special evening, and there was much more openness amongst the majority and the Lord has brought some deep healing. By God's grace we have built trust with the Pastor's and their wives over these days, and they have grown to become vulnerable with us, sharing deep, personal pain and struggles. The Lord has stepped in and brought transformation in people's lives. Hallelujah!

Over the weekend we had two teams going out on Saturday one led by Tristan to a youth conference in Zorovan and another to a church led by Jan we had been to before with many who were expectant because when we visited in the past Jesus brought healing. Both teams were used by the Lord to bring freedom and hope.

On the Sunday we had three teams going to different churches and Tristan spoke to over 700 people in two church services and was very well received. Ian went up the mountains of Vanadzor and spoke to 120 people and the team of 4 prayed for 100 people over 2 hours. Jan went to another church which with 40 adults and 20 children and this team prayed for over 50 of them. This church is small but has 20 "House Groups" which is led by 10 young people from Yerevan who drive 100 kilometres to get there at least twice a week to be missionaries in this rural area.

On the final night we spoke to 100 refugees who had been driven out of Artsakh in October 2023 and at least another 50 locals. We prayed for them and many made commitments to Jesus and many were healed. It was the icing on the cake for us and we thank Jesus for all that he did.
Testimonies

-A pastor shared that after he forgave President Erdogan and asked for forgiveness for criticizing him that a pain troubling him for 9 months in one shoulder and a sore arm were healed. He said that his other arm had recovered and he generally felt much more well. Also from the evening prayer ministry that he had experienced inner healing.

-A lady had inner healing, which God had started, and was able to release that bondage so that God completed it.

-A pastor and his wife both experienced inner healing [x 3 people in all]

-A lady who thought she needed inner healing but her expectations were changed. So often they have little time for themselves to process their own issues.

-A pastor and his wife who lost a son on last day of war were able to forgive and receive some healing.

-4-5 testified to more peace, deliverance.

-One 12/13yr boy committed his life to Jesus.

-There were many who handed over judgement to Jesus. Ministry into trauma, broken relationships, additions, the human spirit, with many tears.

-A teenage girl who was very fearful. She said she wore a mask and was afraid that when she had children, they would be sick as she had been a sickly child, in and out of hospital. Parents and grandparents were fine but cut off any generational curse that might be underlying. Spoke blessing over her and her children and grandchildren. Cut off the lies that had been sown. Spoke about promises of God and she was surprised how many there were! Encouraged to stand on the truth of God's word and pray promises of God, standing in faith.

-One person said that during the prayer she felt the shock in her body leave.

-Another woman had lost her son in 2020 war and was dead inside and would not forgive. Prayed off shock and trauma , grief and spirit of despair. She was able to pass her judgement to Jesus on the cross; prayed into her future and she came to a place where she prayed to be willing to forgive not wanting to remain locked in that prison. She was able to smile and hug. She brought her mother forward who has cancer.

-The mother was asked if she knew Jesus – given the message of salvation, and she responded by making a commitment to follow him. Prayer for lifting off of ungodly ties and for healing and received a measure of healing.

-One young man confessed, deeply and obviously received a significant measure of healing.

-Another of 16/17 responded recognizing the need to forgive and have courage for the future. He was prompted to bring what happened into the light and forgive and was asked if he could do that – yes – and was asked to speak it out into Armenian so that he would not feel restricted. Then soul ties were broken and he asked for forgiveness. He was confirmed as being 'clean' and that the Lord would give him courage as he looks to Him. He was very grateful for the ministry.

Testimonies from Final evening:

- A mother whose son is in the army had pain, and once she handed over her son to Jesus and was prayed for, she was at peace.

- A lady who had pain in her leg for several months was healed.

- A young lady who fled from Artsakh last year with her family was gripped with fear. After some prayer, we then laid hands on her and continued to pray. When she opened her eyes, her countenance was completely different and through tears said that she felt free and at peace.

- One lady had cancer, and when she was prayed for all the pain from her cancer left.

- Many people who were prayed for left carrying joy in their faces.
